Dovetails is a family run business based in the Staffordshire moorlands. With 20 years’ experience we pride ourselves in making quality, handcrafted, solid wood furniture that is made to fit your home.

Our painted rustic furniture range is made from chunky plank pine which is hand finished by gently rounding the edges to give an aged effect. Your painted piece is carefully prepared in our purpose build spray booth by applying two layers of undercoat, then finished with a further two coats of Farrow and Ball paint in a colour of your choice.

All stages of making this piece of furniture are done by hand by our skilled cabinet makers and are inspected to ensure that the very highest of standards are met.

We know that strength & durability are important when choosing your bespoke solid wood piece of furniture. Our drawers are dovetailed by hand and our doors are Tenon jointed. Dowels, screws, glue and solid wood tongue and groove back boards are used to enable your piece of bespoke furniture to last for many years to come.

Please note that the price listed is for a standard sized item. If the item you require differs from the standard size, please email us for a quote on your bespoke piece.

Our aim is to deliver your piece(s) within 4 – 6 weeks from the date of ordering. Kindly note that these are estimated delivery times and some orders may be available sooner. Our promise is to keep you informed on the process of your order as it develops.
