Dovetails is a family run business based in the Staffordshire moorlands. With 20 years’ experience we pride ourselves in making quality, handcrafted, solid wood furniture that is made to fit your home.
All stages of making this piece of furniture are done by hand by our skilled cabinet makers and are inspected to ensure that the very highest of standards are met before leaving our workshop. The wood is spray stained to give an even finish in rich warm tones. Multiple layers of wax are applied by hand to enrich the colour of the stain and to achieve a polished finish. When required a lathe turned wooded knob is hand fitted to your piece.

We know that strength & durability are important when choosing your bespoke solid wood piece of furniture. Our drawers are dovetailed by hand and our doors are Tenon jointed. Dowels, screws, glue and solid wood tongue and groove back boards are used to enable your piece of bespoke furniture to last for many years to come.
